Laboratory of Biophysics and Engineering of Cell

  • Study on molecular and membrane control mechanisms culture development of embryo - and mesenchyme stem cells and ways of regulator/effect realization in multi-computer operation of signal factors (cytokines) with pladmic membrane receptors of stem cells. Development of technologies for substitution therapy using stem cells;
  • Study on molecular mechanisms of functioning the proteins from the Bcl-2 family by the structural simulation method that results in understanding the normal apoptosis development as well as under pathologies caused by apoptosis defects and underlying such diseases as cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. This will allow determination of molecular target and creation of scientific and methodical basis for development of technologies to produce high-effective address medicinal preparations aimed at treatment of malignant tumors and diseases of the central nervous system;
  • Determination of general mechanisms of formation and stabilization of liposomes containing medicinal substances of hydrophobic and hydrophilic nature. Development of technologies for producing a new generation of remedies-liposomal preparations.
  • Study on molecular mechanisms of capture and release of neuromediators, regulation of functioning presynaptic receptors of neurotransmitters under normal conditions under different pathologies followed by determination of the ways for their correction, as far as some diseases of the nervous system (insult, Alzheimer’s disease, parkinsonism, schizophrenia, autism) are regarded as synaptopathy, i.e. disorder in synapse functioning.
